Emily Olszewski (b. 1995) is a figurative painter based in Akron, Ohio whose work functions as an analysis of femme-based communities and the hierarchies that exist within those groups. Olszewski earned her BFA from the University of Akron in 2019, and her MFA from Kent State University in 2024. She has had various solo exhibitions in the Akron and Cleveland areas, as well as recent participation in the SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York City in September of 2024. Her work has been featured in Two Coats of Paint blogazine as well as the 51st edition of Create Magazine.
